Ello
The branding of Ello (Early Learning & Literacy Opportunities) was a service-learning project for the educational department at Eastern Washington University. Ello provides opportunities within the community to help caregivers engage in language and learning, with their young children. This is done through visual/verbal prompts which spark conversation and imagination.
Creating this brand identity was a group project with two of my classmates. My role was to create a color pallet which would appeal to community members of all ages, along with, creating graphics of iconic imagery of the city of Spokane, Washington. Additionally, I helped create social media graphics and signage made to be utilized within the Spokane Transit System’s busses and bus shelters. My group’s branding was picked among our class to represent Ello and assets are now being put up all over the Spokane area. They can be found in grocery stores, city buses, libraries and soon to be in city parks.
